About the Journal

The Bulletin of the National Museum of Natural History of Paraguay (ISSN 1680-4031 / ISSN 2310-4236 in its print and digital versions respectively) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal, published by the National Museum of Natural History of Paraguay (Biological Research Directorate, under the General Directorate for the Protection and Conservation of Biodiversity of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development of the Republic of Paraguay). It publishes original articles, review papers, monographs, and short notes on various topics in the fields of Botany, Zoology, Paleontology, and Descriptive Geology, preferably covering the Neotropical Region, mainly Paraguay and neighboring regions. It is edited and published on a continuous basis, closing one volume per year and one issue per semester. For especially long works, special supplements are produced, which may be released at any time of the year.
